Baadshah - Box Office Collection

After a brief inactive period for Jr. Ntr at the box office, Baadshah finally brought in great footfalls for a Jr. Ntr film. It had great pre-release hype thanks to its grand scale and opened big. Baadshah grossed a total of 75.99 crores globally with a gross of 66.58 crores domestically and USD$1.72M (9.41 Crores) abroad.

The film finished with a gross of 55.50 crores in Andhra/TS, the highest for Jr. Ntr. With a distributor share of 35.43 crores in Andhra/TS, Baadshah was a loss venture in the two Telugu states thanks to its drop after its first week. It finished as the 3rd highest grossing Telugu film in Karnataka after Magadheera and Naayak but its huge price made it just break-even. Baadshah was the 2nd biggest Telugu opener in Tamil Nadu after Mahesh Babu’s Dookudu. It ended its run in the state with a gross of 88 lacs, the 3rd highest in the state for a straight Telugu film after Dookudu and Eega. North India shared the same success as Tamil Nadu.

Jr. Ntr films usually fare poorly in the overseas market. Baadshah changed Jr. Ntr’s luck and did great business abroad. It finished as the 3rd highest Telugu grosser abroad after Dookudu and SVSC. It did nearly USD$1.325M in the USA. It finished with a gross of A$60K in Australia, USD$95K in the UAE, USD$50K in the UK, USD$50K in Canada, and SGD$47.5K in Singapore.

Baadshah finished as the 8th highest grossing Telugu film of all time. With minor losses for its Producer and distributors, it’s an “Above Average”.

The following shows what distribution method each territory is distributed through. The Profit/Loss column in the distributor analysis table is calculated based off of which distribution method a territory is distributed through. This makes it so that a distributor's profit is not always calculated by subtracting "Rights" from "Share". Indian Movie Stats focuses on four different distribution methods: Non Refundable Advance, Minimum Guarantee, Advance Basis, and Own Release.
