Rangasthalam grossed a total of 186.60 crores after 3 weeks at the box office. It earned 158.50 crores domestically and USD$4.31M (28.10 Crores) abroad. The film currently stands as the 3rd highest grossing Telugu film of all time and the 7th highest grossing South Indian film of all time. With the release of Mahesh Babu’s Bharat Ane Nenu, Rangasthalam is looking to close its business soon falling short of the 200 crore mark.

After 3 weeks, Rangasthalam grossed 137.25 crores in Andhra/TS becoming the 3rd highest grosser in the two Telugu speaking states. The film only stands next to the Baahubali series with a good 17% margin over Khaidi No. 150 in Andhra/TS. With a distributor share of 81.37 crores, Rangasthalam has a huge profit margin of 23.5% in Andhra/TS. Karnataka finished most of its run with a gross profit margin of 10%. In Tamil Nadu, Rangasthalam grossed over 3 crores and is the 3rd highest grossing non-dubbed Telugu film in the state. The film has undoubtedly achieved huge sucess and proved to be the much needed comeback for Ram Charan. The film is still going strong but will come to a quick stop following the release of Bharat Ane Nenu.
Rangasthalam continued to perform great in the overseas market too grossing USD$4.31M after three weeks. The film is currently the highest non-Baahubali overseas grosser. Ram Charan’s film earned USD$3.39M from just the USA. It grossed a total of USD$392K [2.55 Crs] from the Middle East and A$375K [1.88 Crs] from Australia.
The film was welcomed with an unexpected grand response in Singapore despite the delayed release and grossed SGD$66K [33 Lacs]. In New Zealand, Rangasthalam finished its run as the 3rd highest grossing South Indian film in the country only behind Baahubali: The Conclusion and Baahubali: The Beginning. It closed with a total gross of NZD$45666 [22 Lacs].
With Rangasthalam, South India has its first big “Blockbuster” of 2018.
