The success of the film made Ram Charan the 5th male lead actor in South India to have a film earn over 200 crores worldwide. Rangathalam stands as the 3rd highest grossing Telugu film of all time and the 7th highest grossing South Indian film of all time. Rangasthalam - First Day Collection

Rangasthalam recieved great responses all over earning 40.43 crores on its 1st day including its overseas premiers from Thursday. It grossed 29.34 crores domestically and USD$1.70M (11.09 Crs). Ram Charan and Sukumar’s duo recorded the 7th biggest south Indian opener globally and the 10th biggest south Indian opener domestically. When conerning only Telugu films, Rangasthalam was the 5th biggest opener globally and the 8th biggest opener domestically.

Rangasthalam put up a huge 24 crores from Andhra/TS itself becoming the 5th biggest opener in the state.

Rangasthalam managed to become the 7th biggest Telugu opener in the USA grossing USD$707K from premier shows in nearly 164 locations across the country. The Sukumar directional grossed a huge A$166K in its first day in Australia having the 4th biggest south Indian opening in the country behind Baahubali 2, Kabali, and Baahubali. Other locations such as Canada, Europe, and the Middle East held record opening for Ram Charan Teja. The film will have a delayed release in Singapore releasing some time mid next week.

With positive word of mouth to support the film, Rangasthalam is on its way to become a huge blockbuster.
