Singam - Box Office Collection

Released in 2010, Singam opened to huge numbers at the box office. The film became the first non-Rajini film to gross 40 crores in Tamil Nadu. In Andhra/TG it became the 5th highest grossing Tamil dubbed film. The movie went on to become a huge success running across A,B, and C centers with ease. Suirya's film became a favorite for people with a taste in commercial masala films. In Kerala and Karnataka the film became a game changer for Suriya becoming his highest grosser there. Karnataka it earned big and ended being the 3rd highest grossing Tamil film there after Sivaji and Paaiya. The film had a huge run in Malaysia as well grossing 7 crores in the country. With other territories like the UAE, Sri Lanka, and Singapore having Singam earn good money, the overseas total added up to be above 12 crores. The film grossed a total of 84 crores globally at the end of it's run becoming the 5th highest grossing Tamil film of all time after Sivaji, Dasavatharam, Chandramukhi, and Anniyan.
